Perdagangan currency sampai penutupan pasar Amerika dolar berhasil menunjukan keperkasaanya terhadap major currency menyusul membaiknya data GDP Amerika dikwartal kedua, telah menunjukan kondisi ekonomi AS secara perlahan pulih dari krisis keuangan. Reboundnya bursa saham Amerika serta penurunan harga minyak turut pula mempengaruhi penguatan dólar.

Untuk perdagangan currency hari ini fokus data ekonomi akan datang dari kawasan Eropa di antaranya consumer confidence dan unemployment rate dengan estimasi unchange. Sedangkan dari AS sendiri yaitu data personal income dengan perkiraan turun dan consumer sentimen dengan estimasi meningkat.

Dipasar Asia dan Eropa mata uang the greenback masih berpotensi akan menguat, menjelang pasar Amerika penguatan dólar kemungkinan akan tertahan mengantisipasi data ekonomi diatas. Namun secara keseuruhan sampai penutupan akhir pekan ini mata uang Paman Sam ini masih berpeluang berjaya. Perbaikan ekonomi AS yang lebih baik serta penurunan harga minyak dunia tetap masih dijadikan acuan untuk aksi buying dólar.

USD Menguat Karena Adanya Aksi Carry Trade

Dollar menguat pada pagi hari ini dikarenakan aksi carry trade.
Carry Trade adalah pengalokasian modal dari asset yang yieldnya lebih rendah kepada asset yang yieldnya lebih besar.

Dollar menguat dikarenakan para investor mengambil aksi carry trade, disebabkan saham-saham di Wall Street mengalami kenaikan pada penutupan pasar minggu lalu. Dan kenaikan saham-saham di Wall Street juga disebabkan karena pernyataan Warren Buffet bahwa krisis yang dialami oleh dua perusahaan financial terkemukan Fannie Mae dan Freddie Mac akan segera berakhir.

Pernyataan Warren Buffet terebut terbukti dengan adanya pernyataan dari seketaris US Tresury, Henry Paulson, yang menyatakan bahwa pemerintah akan membuat surat ajuan kepada pihak kongres. Dimana pada surat tersebut berisikan permohonan permintaan bantuan finansial untuk ditujukan kepada pihak Fannie Mae dan Freddei Mac. Dan laporan yang dinyatakan di surat tersebut, rencanan pemerintah akan memberikan bantuan sebesar 12 triyun dollar.

Dollar menguat terhadap mata uang utama dunia pada perdagangan pagi ini, karena investor mengambil aksi carry trade dengan membeli dollar. Perdagangan USD/JPY pagi ini dibuka diharga 109.92, dan sekarang bergerak di kisaran harga 110.23. (YS)

EURUSD Outlook

Yesterday the daily CCI gave us a valid warning about an upside correction potential of EURUSD. The pair topped at 1.4907 and closed at 1.4896. I am expecting further upside scenario towards 1.4975. We have a valid bullish channel on hourly and 4h chart. As long as these channels are not violated we still have a potential further bullish scenario. Immediate support is seen at 1.4820 followed by 1.4750. Initial resistance at 1.4925 followed by 1.4975. CCI just cross 100 line down on hourly chart and in overbought area on 4h chart suggesting a downside risks as the pair is traded near the bullish channel resistance line.

GBPUSD Outlook

Yesterday the Sterling recovered against Greenback. The GBPUSD was corrected higher, topped at 1.8793 and closed at 1.8776. Technically this fact open the door for a further upside correction move towards 1.8960 area. Immediate support is seen at 1.8740 followed by 1.8666. Initial resistance at 1.8850. We have a valid bullish channel on hourly and 4h chart. As long as these channels are not violated we still have a potential further bullish correction scenario. CCI just cross 100 line down on hourly chart and in overbought area on 4h chart suggesting a downside risks towards bullish channel support line.

USDJPY Outlook

Yesterday the Greenback slumped against Japanese Yen. The pair bottomed at 108.13 and closed at 108.47. My model is mixed with downside bias. A consistent move below 108.50 would open the door towards 107.35. Immediate support is seen at 108.11. Initial resistance at 108.90 followed by 109.50. CCI about to cross -100 line up on 4h chart suggesting an upside risks.

USDCHF Outlook

Like all other major currencies, yesterday the Swiss Franc was traded stronger against Greenback. The pair breakout to the downside from ranging area, bottomed at 1.0842 and closed at 1.0864. My model is mixed with downside bias. Immediate support is seen at 1.0828. Initial resistance at 1.0896 followed by 1.0930. CCI about to cross -100 line up on 4h chart suggesting an upside risks.

Menguatnya Data Ekonomi Eropa dan Proses Pemulihan

Image(Jumat, 22/08/2008) Data ekonomi yang dirilis kemarin sepertinya bertolak belakang dari publikasi Eropa terakhir, terutama rilis GDP Q2 bagi zona euro.

Sudah terbukti bahwa perlambatan terjadi (zona euro berkontraksi 0.2% q/q), tetapi masih membingungkan apakah ini merupakan perlambatan ekonomi yang tajam atau hanya koreksi yang bersifat sementara. Data PMI zona euro untuk bulan Agustus sedikit lebih baik dari ekspektasi yakni 48.0 (konsensus di 47.7), dimana indikator manufaktur dan jasa sedikit lebih tinggi dari prediksi. Tekanan harga juga berkurang, seperti yang terlihat pada indeks harga barang input yang turun dari periode sebelumnya. Satu-satunya kabar buruk datang dari sektor tenaga kerja, dimana partisipasi angkatan kerja terendah sejak Februari 2004.

Rilis data ekonomi lainnnya bagi zona euro juga tidak begitu menggembirakan. Kondisi ekonomi saat ini cukup membingungkan mengingat sedang berlangsungnya periode perlambatan. Terlebih lagi data manufaktur dan jasa yang berada di bawah ambang batas 50 menyiratkan bhwa dua sektor utama di perekonomian masih dalam kondisi resesi. Oleh sebab itu, kita harus berhati-hati menerjemahkan rilis data terakhir sebagai indikasi proses pemulihan ekonomi Eropa, meskipun harga komoditas yang rendah mengurangi tekanan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi dan inflasi.

Dolar AS Ambruk Lagi

Jakarta - Dolar AS kembali merosot tajam setelah keluarnya laporan tentang indikator ekonomi makro yang semakin membawa kecemasan akan proyeksi ekonomi AS kedepan. Data makro ekonomi AS itu sangat kontras dengan data dari kawasan Eropa yang lebih baik ketimbang ekspektasi pasar.

Pada perdagangan kemarin di pasar global, euro diperdagangkan di level 1,4898 dolar, menguat tajam dari posisi sebelumnya di 1,4745 dolar. Mata uang AS ini juga merosot atas yen ke posisi 108,46 yen, dibandingkan sebelumnya di posisi 109,88 yen.

"Dolar AS tertekan oleh keprihatinan baru seputar kesehatan sistem finansial AS," ujar analis Lee Hardman dari Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ seperti dikutip dari AFP, Jumat (22/8/2008).

Indeks Indikator Ekonomi AS turun 0,7% selama Juli, atau lebih buruk dari ekspektasi. Data itu sekaligus merefleksikan berlanjutnya kekhawatiran tentang sektor perumahan dan krisis kredit di negara paman sam tersebut.

Sementara pada perdagangan pagi ini, rupiah masih stabil di kisaran Rp 9.148 per dolar AS, dibandingkan penutupan kemarin di level 9.147 per dolar AS. Jika aksi pembelian portofolio investasi terus berlanjut, maka penguatan rupiah diprediksi akan terus berlangsung

PPI Input Dan PPI Output Q2 New Zealand Meningkat

Pagi ini jam 05.45 WIB telah dirilis data PPI input dan PPI output New Zealand kuartal dua. Tercatat PPI input sebesar 5.6%, dimana kuartal sebelumnya sebesar 2.3%, dan diprediksi analis sebesar 2.6%. Sementara itu data PPI ouputnya di kuartal ini sebesar 3.5%, dimana kuartal lalu sebesar 1.8%, serta diprediksi analis sebesar 2.1%.

Kiwi bergerak sideways di awal sesi perdagangan Asia pagi ini. Data PPI memberikan dampak yang minim terhadap pergerakan kiwi. Terpantau setelah diumumkannya data ini, kiwi diperdagangkan di 78.22 terhadap yen, di 0.7102 terhadap dollar, di 1.2233 terhdapa aussie dan di 2.0685 terhadap euro

Menjelang dirilisnya data ini, kiwi diperdagangkan di kisaran 0.7095 terhadap dollar, di kisaran 78.17 terhadap yen, dan di kisaran 1.2235 terhadap aussie.

BREAKOUT STRATEGI

SYMETRICAL TRIANGLES (SEGITIGA SIMETRIS)

Pola Segitiga Simetris terjadi apabila pergerakan harga semakin mengecil memusat di tengah dimana minat beli berkurang dan minat jual pun berkurang.
Hal ini disebut konsolidasi harga.

Pada pola harga di atas dapat ditarik garis membentuk segitiga yang semakin memusat.Kita tidak tahu kemana harga akan bergerak tetapi biasanya ketika harga berhasil menembus garis segitiga simetris maka trend baru akan dimulai.

Strategi :
Gunakan puncak tertinggi pada pertengahan segitiga sebagai entry order BUY dan SL pada pertengahan segitiga.

Sebaliknya gunakan lembah terendah pada pertengahan segitiga sebagai entry order SELL dan SL pada pertengahan segitiga.

ASCENDING TRIANGLES (SEGITIGA NAIK)

Pola Segitiga Naik terjadi apabila harga tertinggi tidak dapat menembus level resistance sedangkan harga terendah semakin meninggi sehingga pergerakan harga memusat ke level resistance.

Prinsipnya hampir sama dengan Segitiga Simetris yaitu apabila harga berhasil menembus garis Segitiga Naik maka trend baru dimulai.
Biasanya pola seperti ini akan diikuti oleh Uptrend tapi tidak selalu.

Strategi :
Hitung jarak antara puncak tertinggi dgn lembah terendah pada pertengahan segitiga kemudian bagi 2.

Kemudian tambahkan pada level resistance hasilnya adalah level entry order BUY.

Gunakan pertengahan jarak antara puncak tertinggi & lembah terendah tadi sebagai SL.

Untuk entry order SELL gunakan level lembah terendah dengan SL yang sama.

DESCENDING TRIANGLES (SEGITIGA TURUN)

Pola Segitiga Turun adalah kebalikan Pola Segitiga Naik.

CONSOLIDATION CHANNEL

Consolidation Channel terjadi bila harga bergerak sideway.

Strategi 1 :
Untuk channel dengan range <20 pips, tambahkan 30% dari range channel pada level resistance sebagai entry order BUY, kurangi level resistance 30% dari range channel sebagai SL.
Begitu pula sebaliknya untuk entry order SELL.

Strategi 2 :
Untuk channel dengan range >20 pips, kita dapat manfaatkan fluktuasi harga dalam range.
Bagi range dalam tiga area 30%, 40%, 30%.

Jika harga mencapai area 30% atas perhatikan tanda-tanda reversal, jika terjadi reversal order SELL pada area 30% atas dengan target pada area 30% bawah.
Begitu pula sebaliknya.

Gunakan SL maksimal 20 pips.

Perhatikan selalu indikator Anda untuk mengantisipasi terjadinya perubahan arah trend.

The Euro continued descending insignificantly yesterday against the US Dollar from Thursday's top 1.4938 to today's bottom 1.4755, which are the the first resistance and support levels respectively for the currency couple today. If the negative trend continues as we expect to, next support is expected at 1.4685, followed by 1.4600. In upward direction next resistance for today is expected at 1.5000, the break of which would lead to next target 1.5180.

Technical resistance levels: 1.4940 1.5000 1.5180
Technical support levels: 1.4755 1.4685 1.4600

Trading range: 1.4795 - 1.4735
